Joseph did not withhold Forgiveness

The most important emotion or desire of a human heart is forgiveness; every Christian must please God by having a forgiving heart. Forgiving heart makes you a winner in the eyes of God. When we forgive, we GIVE- (This word is very significant) we give someone a gift- we waive a penalty and give ourselves an opportunity to live a winners life. We receive forgiveness from

God as we are imperfect people and have done things we need to be forgiven. 

Col 3:12-13- Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.

Joseph had pure heart; he wept for his brothers and also wept with them. He went through humiliation but was exalted. The greatest example is our savior Lord Jesus who presented salvation even to those who rejected him and crucified him. When we withhold forgiveness, we refuse to offer what God has given us, freely we have received and freely we need to give. Lets ask Him for the ability to forgive others freely as each one of us has been forgiven. God gave me many opportunities to forgive and also ask forgiveness, Love is prisoned by hate but when we forgive we release LOVE.
